Heloise and I were out at Anthem shopping for some clothes for her to wear to work so I took advantage and took some pictures. We were going to try and take a few snaps of the December Super Moon. Check out some of the bokeh and lights at Anthem!
Heloise and I took some interesting shots of the December Super Moon, but with all the haze it isn’t as sharp as it could be. Later after we got home from Anthem the moon looked like it had cut through the haze and blasted a hole to shine through. I have never seen anything like this, leave a comment if you know the technical name for it.
Images of the Lunar Venus Conjunction from December 3rd, 2016. Heloise and I went out to Sunset Point Rest Area in Black Canyon City, Arizona to take some pictures of the conjunction. The pics below are all taken with the Nikon D7200 and Tamron 150-600mm G1 lens, except for the horizon picture which was taken with the Nikon 18-55mm VR2 lens at 21mm.
We had to cut it short because even with two jackets on Heloise was freezing. I think we grabbed all the good pictures anyway.
Happy 2016 Halloween!
Ahh!!! They are eating my flowers!
They must be starving poor doves. So little green for them to eat. I just let them be the flowers will recover and be even more beautiful next week.
The petunias have started blooming!
